Outstanding acoustic performance and exceptional
versatility are combined in the technology of the
Littmann Cardiology III Stethoscope.
Patented tunable diaphragm on each side of chestpiece.
Large side can be used for adult patients, small side
useful for pediatric or thin patients, around bandages
and carotid assessment.
Two patented tunable diaphragms conveniently alternate
between low and high frequency sounds without turning
over the chestpiece. The large side can be used for
adult patients, while the small side is especially
useful for pediatric or thin patients, around bandages
and carotid assessment.
Also features solid stainless steel chestpiece,
two-in-one tube design; patented 3M Littmann Snap
Tight soft-sealing eartips; comfortably angled,
anatomically correct headset and patient-friendly
nonchill rim and diaphragm.
NOTE: The pediatric side of the chestpiece easily
converts to a traditional bell by simply replacing the
diaphragm with the nonchill bell sleeve included with
each stethoscope.
Intended Use
This product is designed for cardiology or other types
of high performance adult and pediatric use.

patented tunable diaphragm.
Littmann stethoscope's patented tunable diaphragm
technology offers time-saving convenience, versatility
and enhanced acoustics. Unlike the traditional bell/diaphragm
design that requires turning the chestpiece to switch
between low and high frequency sounds, a Littmann
stethoscope tunable diaphragm alternates between bell
and diaphragm modes with a simple pressure change on the
chestpiece. Use light contact to hear low frequency
sounds. Press firmly for high frequency sounds.
Featured is both an adult and pediatric-sided chestpiece,
each incorporated with a tunable diaphragm. This
innovative design allows you to use both sides of the
stethoscope for monitoring high- and low-frequency
sounds.
