Preventative Maintenance

Daily
  • Clean door gasket surface with a mild detergent, water and a cloth or sponge. Do not remove gasket.
Weekly
  • Once per week clean the Air Jet by moving the clean out wire in and out ten times. The Air Jet is located in the water reservoir. It is best cleaned while the unit is running (20-30 psl), although this is not mandatory.

  • Clean the water sensor in the rear of the chamber with a damp cloth or sponge. Cleaning the dirt off the sides of the sensor is more important than the sensor tip.

  • Once per week or every 20 cycles clean the camber with sterilizer cleaner. Run a normal sterilization cycle without drying. Drain the solution from reservoir and discard. Fill reservoir and run a normal sterilization cycle without cleaner. Drain the solution from reservoir and wipe the inside of chamber with a damp cloth or sponge. Fill the reservoir with distilled water.

  • Clean tray holder and trays with detergent, or a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner and water, using a cloth or sponge. DO NOT use steel wool, a steel brush or bleach.

  • Put a few drops of oil on the door hinge pin and door tightening bolt.

  • Clean outside of the uit with a soft cloth.
Every Two Months
  • Check the safety valve.
